| The nose piercing
can be a quite hard piercing to heal and as such benefits from the original
jewellery being kept in for 4 - 6 months. Ball closure rings, circular barbells
and nose studs are all commonly worn in the nose. A piercing stud or ring
usually has a gauge (thickness) of 1mm or 1.2mm. If wire nose studs of 0.5mm
- 0.8mm are worn it can reduce the size of the hole and make it very awkward
to gauge back up again. |
