The Prince's Wand is usually fitted using the Prince Albert piercing with the main jewellery body inserted into the urethra (research 'sounding'). It can, however, be adapted to use Ampallang and Apadravia piercings. The main body is hollow and the front pin removable to allow the wearer to go to the toilet without removing the jewellery.
